Nichole Reisdorph recieves shared instrumentation grant to purchase an ion trap mass spectrometer.
Nichole Reisdorph was awarded a shared instrumentation grant from the NSRR to purchase an Agilent 6340 ion trap mass spectrometer. The ion trap is being used in support of NIH funded research projects primarily for protein identification and post-translational modification characterization. A large number of investigators from NJMRC and the surrounding region have utilized the ion trap for a variety of applications including protein identification, identification/confirmation of protein-protein interactions, phosphopeptide mapping, and identification of ubiquitinated amino acids. If you are in need of ion trap mass spectrometric services you can email or call the Reisdorph Lab for more information.
